When we arrived, we saw a number of these Blue Hyacinth Macaws eating, what else, Brazil nuts. I took a few shots and thought, great, I'll check in quickly and then go back and take my time with these guys. Totally wrong. While they were taking their time at the check-in counter, the whole flock flew away. They didn't return while I was there. This is it. |

All of these pictures here were taken on the farm. Some actually roosted here. These Quaker Parakeets also called Monk Parakeets, may not. I saw a huge nest in the nearby jungle with a number of them coming and going. |
